What is Baptism?

Jesus was baptised. Since then, millions of his followers have followed his example. Baptism isn't necessarily a route to salvation, but it symbolises the end of your old life and the start of your new life with Jesus. It symbolises your old life dying (going under the water) and your new life (coming out of the water).
