Darren Mallett

LEAD PASTOR

Darren joined the team in March 2017. Prior to this he was the minister of Salisbury Elim Church for over 6 years, and before this pastored Bridgend Elim for over 8 years. He also served as the 18's-30's pastor at Cardiff City Temple (now City Church) for 3 years. Darren is married to Leanne and they have two grown up children Abigail & Jack. Darren is a massive Nottingham Forest supporter and loves swimming.

Khuram Obaid

ASSISTANT PASTOR

Khuram is a Minister in training with Elim. He is married to Shagufta and has two children. He is also an international Gospel singer who travels the world with his ministry.

Leanne Mallett

ASPIRE LEADER

Leanne is married to Darren and she is very involved in the life of Hereford City Church. She is also Elim’s National Womens Aspire Leader. Leanne is a great communicator and has a real heart for equipping women. She has released her first book "With These Hands: Holding On to God in the Storms of Life", available to buy.

Gareth Lewis

PASTOR

Gareth joined the team at Hereford City Church in Spring 2023. He is married to Janet and they have 3 grown up children. Gareth has previously pastored at Cheltenham Elim, Northampton Elim and Chiswick Elim.

Bob Snowzell

Bob joined the leadership in Spring 2023. He is married to Geraldine and has been in church leadership for many decades having pastored churches in the past. Together they head up our Connect and our Connect team. They also oversee Alpha and our Freedom in Life Course.

Sally Mowbray

Sally has been a part of Hereford City Church for over 20 years and is one of our Elders. She is also our Church Finance Officer and part of the Worship Team. She is married to Greg and has three grown up children. She loves the great outdoors, hiking and Swimming, growing her own produce and very much appreciates living in the beautiful county of Herefordshire.

Norman McCall (Mac)

Originally from South Africa. Mac joined the church leadership team in Spring 2022. Mac is married to Jean and heads up the Warrior's men's ministry at Hereford City Church. He has a real heart and passion for Men's ministry. He is also involved in the church worship team.

Paul Laycock

elder

Originally from Sheffield, Paul has been a member of the church for over 30 years and at various times has served as a member of the worship team. Finance Officer and Deacon. He and his wife Julia met whilst they were playing in Country and Western bands and together they led Hope Country Gospel Band until a number of years ago.

Efemene Adipere

Efemena is married to Patrick and they have two children. She joined the church leadership team over the Summer. Efe is our Worship Pastor and heads up our church worship team..

Amaka Victory Umechikere

Amaka is married to Joshua and originally comes from Nigeria. Amaka joined the church leadership team in the Summer. She also speaks and serves on our church worship team.
